Mount Etna is one of the highest volcanoes in Europe and one of the most active in the
world. The volcano has shaped the history and landscape of Sicily and continues to influence
the island today. It was declared a UNESCO World Heritage Site in 2013, and its smoking
craters and lava flows, both old and new, are always an impressive sight for visitors.
Tour: Transfer from Taormina to Mountain Etna with expert tour guide.
Duration of Tour: Etna hike takes about 2.5 hours + about 2 hours round trip transfer to Etna. (5 hours and half total).

Difficulty: Tourist. The excursion is also possible for children over 3
